About Lucy

Introducing Lucy! Lucy was adopted from our rescue 3 years ago. Unfortunately the dynamics in her home have changed and Lucy needs to find a new home. The other dog in the home is now a senior with health issues and recently had two surgeries. Lucy is a higher energy, playful dog, and the senior dog is no longer tolerant of this. It is causing friction between the two dogs, and is not good for the senior dogs health. Lucy is 4 years old. She is a higher energy dog that needs an active owner. She is an intelligent dog and excels with training. She loves to run. She loves the water and to swim. She is good with other dogs and cats. She is potty trained and crate trained. Lucy needs an active owner. She will thrive with daily walks, hikes, running, brain games. She would enjoy swimming in the summer time and camping. Attending doggy daycare. Another younger, playful dog in the home would work, but she would not be a good match for a senior dog. She would do best with older children as she will knock smaller children over. She needs a little work on leash as she does pull. Lucy is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.
