About Cookie

Meet Cookie! Cookie is a 5-year-old, female, Miniature Pinscher mix. Cookie joined MHCR a couple months back and this poor girl needed some work. Cookie was extremely overweight for a dog her size and she also needed a dental cleaning with some extractions. She's down to 13 lbs now and has a mouth full of pearly whites. Cookie is looking for a quiet, calm home. She would likely do best with another dog that's outgoing, confident, and friendly but she may take a day or two to warm up to him. She is a little skittish and barky as Min Pins tend to be so a home without young kiddos is probably best. She will thrive in a patient home that can provide stability for her and a willingness to work through some of her fears. She is great for couch snuggles, though!
