Gunner has been with my for 13 years. He is sweet and gentle, especially with children. He has no known health issues despite being 13 years old, has never missed any vaccinations, get annual bloodwork done, and for the last 3 years has undergone regular dental cleanings as he doesn't allow me to brush his teeth. He has been groomed every 6-8 weeks without fail for 13 years so he's no stranger to baths or trimming. Gunner is no longer interested in playing with toys; his energy levels are fairly low (but consistent with his age). Gunner prefers sitting in someone's lap 24/7, watching TV, or just napping. Gunners appetite has no dwindled at all and likes to be fed 2x/day. I mix his kibble with plain skyr yogurt and for a snack I'll give him a blueberry or a small piece of carrot. He has never eaten table scraps or processed human food of any kind. I am looking for a calm, quiet, environment for him as he progresses through the last few years of his life. I can not sit with him unfortunately as my schedule doesn't allow me to give him the time and attention he is craving; having him in a crate is not fair to him either. Gunner is crate trained and he sleeps in his crate at night. I'm happy to answer any other questions anyone may have. Thank you!
