About Demi

Demi is a tiny but mighty 5-year-old, 3-pound female Chihuahua. She was found very near a very busy multi lane highway. She was extremely frightened and definitely had the Chihuahua shakes. The person who scooped her off the road was unable to locate an owner. She had no collar, tag or microchip and social media failed to locate an owner. She gets along well with her little pod of tiny dogs at PPR. She tolerates some of the larger dogs but often prefers to tell them loudly to get lost. She needs to be introduced slowly with other dogs and people. She is very treat driven so that makes introductions easy. Demi sleeps very well in a kennel near her foster Moms bed at night. She will sound her alarm if she has to go potty during the day or night and if we pay attention, she is housebroken. However, she will also use pee pads. Demi is fully vaccinated, spayed, had a dental with some extractions, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $350.
