About Milo

Milo is looking for his forever home!�%A0�%A0�%A0His owner was young and lived in an apartment and could not keep him.�%A0�%A0Milo is 3 years old.�%A0�%A0�%A0He is a very good and loving boy who loves attention.�%A0�%A0He is not extremely high energy, although he will require an hour walk every day.�%A0�%A0After that he is happy to lay around, go for car rides, etc.�%A0�%A0Milo does have some anxiety, so he will require an owner that can be calm and give him the structure and boundaries that he needs.�%A0�%A0Milo is crate trained, leash trained, and house broken.�%A0�%A0He has done ok with my cats, he doesn't really seem to care about them that much.�%A0�%A0He has lived with dogs, and seems to do ok with dogs that are not rude and jumping all over him.�%A0�%A0He is more interested in his people.�%A0�%A0�%A0He is NOT ok with free roaming chickens.�%A0�%A0I don't have any young children to test him around so that is an unknown. This is the type of home we are looking for:�%A0�%A0�%A0Reasonably active adults that will walk Milo for an hour a day.�%A0�%A0If you are the type to put the dog out in the yard for all of their exercise, this is not the dog for you.�%A0�%A0Someone who is comfortable with giving a dog proper structure and boundaries as needed.�%A0�%A0Someone who is willing to be trained to use an ecollar and prong collar.�%A0�%A0He needs both of these tools.�%A0�%A0Someone who has a securely fenced yard, which is 6 feet high.�%A0�%A0�%A0As I mentioned above, I don't have small children so I don't have any knowledge of how he would do.�%A0�%A0I can speculate that a noisy house with a bunch of young children would not be great for a dog with anxiety.�%A0�%A0A quieter home would be the best scenario.�%A0�%A0�%A0 If you are interested in Milo please send me an email or give me a call.�%A0�%A0He is located near Harrisonburg, Virginia.�%A0�%A0 (540) 236-2698 [email protected] He has completed a board and train.
