Unfortunately, we are losing our home and have to relocate to an apartment in North Jersey. We have tried to find one that will take us with 2 dogs but have not had any luck. This has forced us into a really difficult decision of having to rehome our pets. I'm reaching out in hopes that you might be able to help us, or even just share and get the word out to help us find them homes. We have had both dogs since they were 8 weeks old. They are now just about 6 years old. Both girls. Both are great with kids and have lived with other dogs their entire lives. We lost our big guy to cancer last year and since then. they've started to take a minute to warm up to other male dogs but never any aggression. Harper is a Shihtzu/ Pomeranian mix. White hair with some tan. She doesn't shed much. About 25 lbs. She is not fixed. Medium energy, loves to play, very cuddly and affectionate, but will happily leave you alone and go do her own thing. Zahra is a Pittie/ Hound mix of some sort. She is a couch potato with the occasional burst of energy. She is about 50 lbs. Gray with brown brindle in her legs. Has 0 sense of personal space and would just love to be as close to you as possible. She's happiest sleeping on a blanket on the couch next to you. Both dogs are crate-trained and housebroken. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We've rescued 4 dogs and never imagined we would be in this situation. It's devastating.
