About Baxter

Meet Baxter! He's the most precious guy who is a bit timid at first but loves snuggles with his person. He came to Hero West as a stray just before the below-freezing weather but quickly adjusted to inside life. He is housebroken and loves dogs, cats, and kids. He would be the perfect addition to a loving family who is patient as he learns to trust you. We are not a shelter, we are a rescue and all of our rescued pets live with a Tennessee foster family until their forever home is found. They are all checked by a veterinarian, current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered are micro-chipped. Our fosters know the animals best and will give you an honest assessment of their traits and training.
