About Rocky

Neutered Border collie mix He is a very happy fun loving boy with lots of energy. Loves toys or anything you have laying around. He loves to play with balls and can entertain himself for quite awhile but really likes when he can play 'keep away' or 'catch me if you can'. Like I said he has lots of energy. He's quite affectionate. Likes to snuggle and will climb on my lap but only with his head as nd shoulders. Can't get him to climb up on the couch so he can lay their with his head my lap. He doesn't lift his leg to pee, he squats. His worst habit is he doesn't know the word or what it is to WALK ON LEASH. He pulls. He's very excited to go for walks but I am not strong enough to take him for a walk. He is crate trained and sleeps very well in his crate, day or night. Loves being outside. Let's you know when he wants out and when he wants in. My cats were raised with dogs so they tolerate him but he really wants to chase/play with them. Hasn't happened yet. He gets very excited when meeting people. Actually is kinda crazy excited but calms down after awhile. He rides good in the car. He's cautious with new circumstances. At least he was when I first got him. Example he had never done stairs. I couldn't get him to climb 2 steps. I ended up putting him in my fenced yard and putting food and water on the deck. Eventually he climbed the steps so he trained himself and overcame his fear. He really wants someone to play with. He's been to dog park but I don't believe those are safe environments. He loved being there. He plays well with other dogs. He's too happy to be aggressive but I don't think he has an off button. He does wear himself out cuz he comes in to take a napthankfully.
