Arya is a beautiful and sweet, one-year-old, 59-pound, brindle and white female Am Staff-mix looking for a loving guardian. Arya is fabulous with other dogs and is sharing a foster home with a little Shih Tzu. She loves walks and is perfectly crate-trained. Arya was rescued in October off the streets of Chicago. A young man was on his way to work at Home Depot when he found this beautiful dog. A co-worker took her home and has been searching for her family ever since. After coming to the realization that she has been abandoned by her original family, she is now looking for a new home through Friends of Petraits Rescue. She's looking for someone to take her into their home and heart. She loves long walks, and would be great in a training class. She's wonderful with people of all ages including a two-year-old boy. She's really well-behaved and doesn't jump up on people. She does enjoy chasing cats, so she's looking for a home without small animals including felines. Arya is extremely healthy, spayed, heartworm-tested negative, and on monthly heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative, microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies and distemper. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. To meet and possibly adopt Arya, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and follow up to meet her by e-mailing [email protected]
