About DEF LEPPARD

Australian Cattle Dog mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

His Good Samaritan says he's doing well and really needs a home of his own. He's still learning about potty and leash training but always potties in a specific part of the yard, so he's getting there! Name: Def Leppard Age: DOB 4/1/2023 (estimated) Breed: Heeler, approximately 40 pounds Sex: Male (confirmed neutered) Location: Nevada County, CA Def Leppard is part of a litter who was taken in by a Good Samaritan to help them find homes. The rest of the puppies were adopted, but Def Leppard is still waiting. Vet Info: Def Leppard is confirmed neutered. He is up to date on vaccines including DAPP, Lepto, Bordetella, Rabies, and Rattlesnake vaccine. He has not had a heartworm test. Dog Info: Def is an indoor dog confined to one area of the house. He is not yet 100% potty and crate trained, but is working on it. He is also working on leash and harness training. Def is good with both men and women, and male and female dogs who are gentle with him. He hasn't been around small children. His Good Samaritan also told us Def Leppard 'can be outgoing if he knows you and is familiar, can be reserved if he's not familiar....Enjoys having a 'mild mannered doggie partner'' He is not possessive of toys, treats, or food and has only snapped once, at a littermate who came up and jumped on him and wanted to play. Def Leppard's cause of blindness is unknown, however his Good Samaritan tells us the vet thought it was a possible injury. He seems completely blind. Other than his vision, we're told he's a healthy little boy! He self entertains, runs and leaps! Def Leppard's contact also wants us to know what a sweetheart he is. She writes, 'He's a happy boy, loves the other dog and knows when he leaves. Loves to nap with his person. Enjoys chewing.' Please email [email protected] if you are interested in Def Leppard. Please note we will ask for a vet reference. **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
