About Sam Solo

Sam was left behind when his owner passed away unexpectedly at the beginning of December. He was a supportive friend and is eager to find someone he can be there for. He is well trained, understanding of his core commands and is very willing to cooperate. He knows both verbal and non verbal cues and is very good with children. He does have a tendency to want to jump up to say hello, but he is learning very quickly that he is too big for that. He lived with a cat and is very social with other dogs. His previous owner did not neuter him, so is is ready for that next step, and his temperament will benefit from having it done. His favorite games are ball and tug, and he loves going out to run in the river bottom and at the dog park. He will do best in a home that is active daily and will need enough space to really use all his skills, of which he has many. Need your hat? He will get that too!
