About Nox and Orio (Orion)

Nox and Orio are nearly identical littermates that we came across at a farm around Halloween and ended up bringing home. Originally it was only to be one but after being told they were bonded, we didn't want to separate them. They were incorrectly sexed as females and didn't find out they were boys until I took them in to be checked out about a month later. Since then, they have both began reaching maturity and Orio became very territorial and they stopped getting along sadly. Having to keep them apart has reduced their living and playing space by over half and they have begun spraying/urine wars through the cage although there hasn't been any aggression as long as they aren't in the same closed in area. I sadly and typically didn't know anywhere near close the amount of info I should have for these guys and while I have done so much research since to try and give them all that they need, it's falling short and affecting all of us negatively. I have a rowdy dog, less than 2 years and she does great with them under very close supervision (she's never gotten close to them besides through the cage or laying on the couch while they were out) that being said though, it's impossible to give them time or the ability to roam around just to avoid accidents. They are very sweet boys and I know can make great companions to the right people. We will be undergoing a cross country move in March via road trip and that's unsuitable and dangerously traumatic for them so they will need new homes asap. Each will come with their current supplies, including cages and exercise pens. I don't want any money for them but ask that the prospective adopter make a donation to this organization instead of a rehoming fee.
