About Shorty

This adorable boy is Shorty. He is 3-years-old, weighs 35 lb and probably has some terrier in him. His name is fitting since he is a 'lowrider' like a Basset hound. Shorty is currently with our rescue partner in West Virginia. Shorty has an easygoing temperment and is good with other dogs and fine with cats. It is Shorty's New Year's wish, to come to DAWS to find his forever home. He can travel to CT as early as January 6 if we find him a foster home here. DAWS provides the food, crate, supplies and you supply the love! Fosters always have the first option of adopting. A foster needs to live within one hour of Newtown CT.
