Grace is a loving snuggler older female saint who just wants a loving family. She is good with male dogs. No kiddos. She doesnt have the patience for them. HERE IS HER STORY. CALL ME IF YOU CAN GIVE HER A LOVING HOME ASAP. THIS IS URGENT. *******Lakeville, MN 55044 AREA Hello, I found your email on Facebook and I am not sure if you're located in MN or not. I work at a boarding facility and one of our regular Saint Bernards who is a female altered senior if facing euthanization for biting the toddler in her home after she fell in front of her. Grace is a staple in our boarding facility and it's just a sad situation for everyone. It is with a heavy heart that I am searching for a place to surrender my 7.5-year-old Saint Bernard, Grace. Grace joined our family when she was nearly 4 years old, after I saw a post on Facebook saying that she was on her way to the pound after her initial owner had lost their farm and were living out of their car. Grace has stayed with Vermillion Kennels several times over the last year and is loved by many. She has been a loved part of our extended family for the past 3.5 years but with her age, has shown aggression towards my 2.5 year old son. He's always been very loving towards her, but is clumsy, and has fallen towards her a couple of times, recently she has started biting him. Today, she bit him on the head and caused a near-severe injury. She has had one other protective issue, where I got in the middle of her and another dog, and I received 8 stitches. Other than these instances, she is an amazing dog. She is large (140lbs), loves short walks and long naps, she gets along great with our 5-year-old Australian shepherd mix, but doesn't love other dominant female dogs. She would love someone to cuddle with all day long (she thinks she's a lap dog). BEST IN A HOME WITH A MALE DOG. I'm happy to provide any other information, as well as a donation to wherever we could possibly find her a good home. I am reaching out as a last resort to as many places as possible as my husband has planned to have her euthanized next Tuesday. Please let me know if you have any contacts who can help - Grace deserves to live out her remaining senior years in a good home!
