Little Nena is in search of her forever home ... this time never to be dumped again. Dogs are not disposable. Her name should be cherry poe because thats just how sweet she is!! Little Nena was adopted by an older lady when she was just a little puppy.... fast forward 4 years later, now the woman cannot take care of her, has to have surgery and tried to take her to the veterinarian to be euthanized but no veterinarian in their right mind would do that, so I am going to make sure to it that I find her the forever loving home that she deserves. ACTUALLY SHE WILL BE BETTER OFF ONCE I FIND HER THE LOVING HOME SHE DESERVES. IM SO SAD FOR LITTLE NENA BUT I WILL SEE TO IT THAT SHE HAS A HAPPY ENDING TO HER STORY. I have been heavily involved in dog rescue in Miami for over 30 years. I was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago and have slowed down tremendously, but hearing about little Nena, I was compelled to see to it that she is properly rehomed, and she gets the loving home that she deserves for the rest of her life. She is still healthy and with the right care, she will give you love and happiness for many more years to come. Nena is a very well behaved dog. She seems to do well with dogs, however my question would be if you had big dogs I don't know if I would recommend how they would be with her. I am not quite sure how she is with cats, although with her calm demeanor I don't anticipate it should be a problem, although I can't say for sure. My adopted policy and motto has always been 'better safe than sorry', so I will not rehome to anybody who has small children in the house, because I do not want to set them up or her up for failure, and I feel she is too tiny to be handled by small children. She is about 4 1/2 yrs old, weighing about 10 lbs. I would like to find an ideal home for her that would be with adults only and if children they should be older. She is absoluely precious. She comes with a clean bill of health and would be a great companion to a family...She needs to be loved and needs the attention she yearns for. She is pretty much house trained. She will do her business outside, as long as you take her out routinely. She is still energetic, very loving & seems to be a happy, sweet dog. She needs tons of love and deserves it, as all dogs do. If you cannot replace the word 'dog' with 'child' and Nena will not be treated as if she is your child, please do not call to be considered. I have made the commitment to Nena to make sure I find her the opportunity to find love. My promise to her now is to make sure I find her the best forever home with one who will love her for the rest of her life & continue to let me know how wonderful she is doing. Nena will be your best friend. Will you be hers?? We are looking to find the perfect person/couple/family that will give her as much as she deserves. She comes to you spayed, microchipped (AND MICROCHIP WILL REMAIN IN MY NAME INDEFINITELY), heartworm negative & on heartworm & flea/tick prevention& if u adopt her, you MUST keep her on both & up to date with yearly check ups & vaccines.
