About Zeus

Zeus is a very skittish dog. Full blooded, with papers. He has been this way since we got him. He is scared of everyone and everything. One day he farted outside and he jumped and tried to run. Leaves, people talking, cars going by all scare him and will keep him from going outside. We got him when he was 3 months old, he was never abused while in our care, but has never came out of his skittishness. He runs and hides from everyone (even us living in the home) constantly when outside his cage. We have given him love and companionship but this has not changed anything. He growls at company from his pen, but if we let him out when someone is here he will run and hide behind the couch. We cannot get him to come out of this temperament and don't know what else to do. He needs a space where he can be out of his pen more and not where he has the option to hide constantly. We have children and grandchildren who don't understand why he runs from them when our other dogs don't act the same way.
