To meet KENNA and be considered for adoption you must first submit an ADOPTION APPLICATION: www.aplaceofhoperescue.com KENNA is a sweet, playful 3 year old, 19 pound Chihuahua mix that we pulled out of a criminal hoarding/backyard breeding situation. LOCATION: Pensacola, FL NEEDS: An active young playmate and a family. Despite having a not so great start in life, Kenna is a happy, sweet little dog who loves to give kisses. She loves, loves attention and affection from her people! Kenna is energetic and would be happy with a playful fur buddy or an active family who will take her on adventures. She is good with other dogs and loves playing with toys and other dogs. She is great with older kids but is a little too high energy for little ones. We have not tested her with cats. Kenna is very smart and trains easily. She's doing great with her potty training and has picked up walking on a leash now. She enjoys being outside and loves to go for walks and car rides. At night Kenna sleeps in bed with her foster family, snuggled close. She has been to the vet for a wellness checkup, is up to date on shots, spayed, fecal tested, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. Beautiful Kenna is looking for a happy active family to match her energy and to love her forever! *We are located in Pensacola Florida. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. Most others we will consider within a 5-hour drive. We do not ship or transport our dogs. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our dogs live in private homes in and around the Pensacola area until they are adopted.
