*PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY* REQUIREMENTS: Secure, fenced yard; another younger playful pup; active owner(s). Carole is a very sweet 1 year old, 8-1/2 pound terrier/chihuahua mix girl. She came to the rescue when no owners came to pick her up from the county shelter. She is a bit shy and timid at first, but once she warms up and feels comfortable around you, she is anything but shy! She is a live-wire who LOVES to play and do zoomies around the yard! She's a very smart girl and is willing to learn new things, especially when you have a treat in hand! She doesn't mind dogs bigger than her but keeps her distance at first. Carole will require another younger playful dog close to her size to play with! She would love to be with you as much as possible and certainly will keep you company and luckily, she's tiny enough that you can take her just about anywhere! Due to her small size, any children in the home should be at least 12 years old and of a kind, respectful nature and very aware and careful of leaving any doors open accidentally where she could escape. Even though she's got a big personality, due to her small size, she will require a home where the humans are used to watching out for a small pup! Carole is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300.00.
