A true Rags to Riches story Jack became a US citizen a week ago. He and his sister were living on the streets of Mexico desperately trying to enter every car that drove by. They lived in a field with lots of other dogs dreaming of the day they could not worry about their next meal or lay on a soft bug free blanket in a warm home. A dog rescued from a situation like this is a TRULY thankful pet. They will be loyal and true forever. We estimate Jack to be a juvenile under the age of 3. We will never know his true beginning in this life but we do know that he is loving it up here in the US sitting on green grass soaking in the California sunshine. He now lays with his eyes closed, face turned to the sun not worrying about being attacked or captured for less than desirable reasons. We have found him to be sensitive and sweet, easy on the leash and just joyful to have human company. He has been fine with other dogs and would do well with other non dominant sibling. He has a good personality. He is ready and available living in foster with two other dogs in the Los Angeles area. Who would like to take this sweetheart in and give him a Christmas like he's never known? He will truly melt your heart. Reach out to meet him. Jack has a natural tail and weighs in at around 65 pounds. His foster says he is quite REGAL and Sphinx like in the rare moments he is found relaxing. While not relaxing he is playful, funny and a goober. He is crate trained and learning the housebreaking routine and doing well learning from his foster siblings. He can use a strong Weim handler as he learns boundaries inside a home.
