About Oreo

Oreo is a 9 week old fun loving male Kelpie/Border Collie mix. We are guessing at the cross as his mom, former HSO dog 'Toffee' appeared to be a Kelpie and Oreo has the markings and behaviors typical of a border collie. Oreo has an energy level of 7/10 and has a strong play drive with his puppy toys. He also loves being outside - like it's his favorite thing to do! He has been well socialized in his foster home and likes playing with the 'big dogs' when they play fetch. He is very smart and has already learned to use a pee pad or whine to go outside to do #2. He is also learning what 'no' means and 'leave it' when he has something in his mouth that he shouldn't. Sticks seem to be his favorite chew toy! His ideal home would be someone who is very active and has room for him to run and get a lot of physical exercise. He would excel at agility or frisbee catching as he already has an interest in the frisbee with his foster mom. Despite having 'boy dog energy', Oreo loves a good snuggle and is very affectionate having learned that humans = love. This little guy will make someone a fantastic pet.
