About Pongo--Special Needs

Pongo is a frisky, fun-loving and deaf male Dalmatian who will thrive with the dedication of a forever-family or person. We rescued this super sweet boy because of his abundance of character. Pongo's deafness, for example, doesn't keep him from making connections. We have seen him both 'hug' people affectionately and socialize playfully with other dogs. Exuberantly 'jumpy,' approximately two-year old Pongo (as of November 23) is at a wonderful age for adoption--he has the warm-hearted, energetic playfulness of a puppy, and coupled with the patient, consistent, calmness of a dedicated family/person, we see his potential for confidence and companionship with age. Pongo will require an experienced adopter who can provide him with that patience, consistency, calmness, and dedication.
