About Iris

Adoption Fee: $175
Age: Senior
Sex: Female

I live in Morgan Hill Ca (South San Francisco Bay Area) and my neighbors and I are looking to rehome Iris, a ragdoll mix cat. Her owner passed away on Nov 11 and Iris is currently staying in the unoccupied home and being cared for by us, the neighbors. It has been recommended by many people that I reach out to you for help. A little more info about Iris: Iris is a 10 yr old female, Ragdoll mix, a bit overweight and recently diagnosed as diabetic. We believe there is hope the diabetes can be reversed. Iris would be happiest in a quiet atmosphere but she is used to the television and lot of music. She is satisfied being an indoor only cat and has never tried to run outdoors. Preferably, no young children and no other pets will be permanently in her environment. She lived with an elderly gentleman for 5 years and she was very affectionate with him. She is a very loving and mellow cat. Iris is shy at first and may hide but due to her need for affection she will eventually come out and visit. Iris uses cat scratchers and plays with toys but is not overly active. Breed: Ragdoll Mix Age & Weight: 10 years old (born February 3, 2013) & weighs 18 lbs, 8 oz.
