About Bella

Adoption Fee: $200
Australian Cattle Dog mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Bella will be 1 year old on 12-14-2023! She is an extremely loving girl! She knows a lot of commands and craves learning, herding, running! I just sustained a back injury and am not able to take her on walks. She loves frisbee, playing ball, playing with other dogs as she does go to doggie day camp 2-3 days per week to get playtime and activities! She craves to learn! She's extremely intelligent and learns fast. Must have patience and be consistent with her as she is still puppy even at 1 year old and still has a lot to learn and of course needs time to adapt to her new family. The idea person for Bella is someone perhaps with a lot of land she can run and chase critters on or even farm to teach her what she loves to do which is herd!! She sleeps with us and is an inside dog but needs a family who is very active and outdoors a lot so she can play, run, fetch and herd critters like birds, squirrels or cattle! She is completely house/potty trained and was by far the easiest dog I've ever had to house train!! Spayed, and 100% up to date on all vaccinations. She is on flea/tick/heartworm medication as well every month. Due to my back injury i have not been able to work with her as far as leash walking! So she does pull and needs someone to work with her consistently on that. Like i said she learns super fast and craves work/activities! She is a snuggle bug at night and loves to cuddle on the couch with you. Always needing to have a paw on you all the time!! :). Car rides she loves however she does get car sick if she rides within 2 hours of eating! So if you plan to take her on car rides please understand she does get sick if just fed! She also 'may' grow out of it. It's not everytime she gets car sick. But please do understand if she's eaten she needs to digest at least 2 hours prior to a car ride! She does very well on car rides and loves to put her paw on your arm while driving! :). She is a extremely fun, very loving of all animals and shy at first when meeting new people! Blue Heelers/Red Heelers are very energetic dogs and thrive on commands, firmness and always willing to learn!! They thrive to have a 'job'! Please NO bad or hate responses. I already feel very sad and have done a lot of crying as i do love this baby girl!! I just know i can't work with her and give her the outdoor time and activity that she craves, deserves and needs due to my injury! I am most happy to send you more pictures of her upon request. She would really thrive best with another medium to large dog as she lovessss to play allllll time time!! I do ask if you decide to get her, please be patient and consistent with her. If after time she doesn't work out then i will gladly take her back and find her a appropriate family that she will mesh with.
