These fluffy Maine Coon mix boys (Fern & Maple) need special adopters with time & patience. Found outside in a community cat colony just a little while ago, they need lots of cuddles, wearing and affection to reach their full cuddle kitty capacity. Currently they love food, and once picked up adore gentle cheek massages, scratches and brushing. We estimate they are 12 to 14 weeks old. They are already growing long, soft ruffs and have long, long whiskers. Their coat is thick and luxurious. And did I mention soft? Larger than most kitties at this age, it looks like they will be larger than average. Their ear floof is amazing. And their hair is soft like a Purebred Maine Coon. They will be neutered next week and it would be amazing if they could go to their forever homes right away. Kitties over 16 weeks have transport available to most of the United States. Kittens younger than 16 weeks: adopters can fly to Austin or San Antonio airports. In Texas: Transport is available along 1-35 for a small donation to a rescue partner. They are also compatible with cat-friendly cats with similar energy levels. If interested in a cat/kitten with a higher energy level than your current cat, adopting a bonded pair is recommended to avoid upsetting your cat. Slow introduction to new dogs and cats, according to the Jackson Galaxy method, is important to ensure they get along. FLUFFY KITTIES Adopter must have experience grooming long hair cats or be willing to take a quick class on YouTube about grooming long hair cats. TRANSPORT DETAILS: Texas: cats over 14 weeks can travel along 1-35 or within 4 hours of San Antonio with a rescue partner for a small donation. Out of state: for cats over 14 weeks old, transport is available to most of the Southern states, plus CT, NY, PA, ME, NJ and a few other states for $175 per crate. If they get along and space permits, up to 2 cats or 4 kittens can share a crate, and cost will be split amongst adopters.
