About Roxy

Welcome back to rescue, Roxy! ROXY is a 6 month old, 12.4 pound Frenchie Pomeranian mix LOCATION: Pensacola FL NEEDS: Fenced yard, a playmate, love and attention! HIGHLIGHTS: Love bug! Roxy and her littermates were surrendered to us in July. They were all adopted, but Roxy was recently returned. The adoptive family's senior dog is ill and Roxy was not getting the time that she needed. She is a friendly girl who wants love and craves attention like any puppy. She is very sweet, likes people and attaches pretty quickly to a new person. Roxy is good with most dogs and is best suited for a home with another young, playful dog about her size or bigger. We have not tested her around cats and she should adjust to children, but we would prefer that she go to a home with older kids. Roxy is still working on her potty training and needs a good routine and lots of positive reinforcement. She also still needs some work on her leash training and a home with a fenced yard would be great for her to get lots of stimulation and exercise, something every puppy needs! At night Roxy sleeps in the bed with her person all night long with no accidents. She is current on shots, spayed, heartworm negative and has been started on heartworm prevention, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. This pretty girl is ready for her second chance at a forever home! Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. Most others we will consider within a 5-hour drive. We do not ship or transport our dogs. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our dogs live in private homes in and around the Pensacola area until they are adopted.
