About Roku

Hi there! I'm Roku, a 2 year old Malamute! I am a sweet sensitive boy who loves people! If you are sad I will snuggle you and lick your tears away! If you are happy I will be happy with you! I am looking for my Furever cuddle buddy. People are my favorite thing in the whole world and I love spending all my time with them. I am happy to go for a walk, a car ride, or just be at home lounging doing absolutely nothing. No matter what we are doing I will be your best friend. I have epilepsy, but since being on my awesome medication I have not had any new episodes or negative side effects! How great is that?! Roku takes Levetiracetam also known as keppra. Roku gets 1250mg twice a day. 500 mg is from Walmart with the GoodRX it is about $26 for a month. 750 mg is from the vet pharmacy and it is $56 for a month. I currently have 7 months stock of the 750 mg. So his new family would have a few months to find the best place to get that most reasonably. I like kids and am very gentle, but I am a big boy, so I would do best in a home with children 3 years and older so I don't accidentally knock them over. Kids in my neighborhood love to come and give me pats all the time on walks, and I love to give them kisses. I'm doggy friend selective so slow introductions with new dogs are important. I need all the doggy love and attention to be for me! I am protective of my home and the people who love me, so I always sniff out anyone new I meet, just to make sure that they have good juju. I have had professional obedience training and am very treat motivated! I can be a very obedient boy and I really enjoy practicing all my training! The ONLY reason I am looking for a new Furever home is because I do not get along with my older fur siblings. My parents love me very much, but I need to be an only dog.
