Went to a farm/small breeder to adopt a puppy. The breeder encouraged us to adopt two puppies. Hadn't heard of littermate syndrome before, but they seem to be developing it. Separation anxiety when apart and very rough play when together. First vaccinations done with breeder and second vaccinations done with our vet last week. Born Aug 30, 2023. Dad is a 50 pound black and white standard poodle. Mom is a 65 pound mixed breed, looked like a yellow lab but breeder says Great Pyrenees mix. Sadly I believe they will do best in separate homes. Probably the sooner the better. We have had the pair 2 weeks. They do well in separate crates and are making progress on potty training.
