About Chicken Little

Chicken Little has one of our favorite transformation stories to date. The Rescue got a call about a little chihuahua that has been feral in their trailer park for years who has just given birth to puppies under a shed. We arrive with a small army of loving fosters who after hours are able to dig out the tiny babies and trap the scared momma. Momma got knicknamed Chicken Little cause she was so scared for weeks in her foster's home. Her babies have all been adopted and now it is momma's turn. We are happy to report that she has made some incredible progress. She now loves to be cuddled by her foster mom. And gets along with the adult dogs in the home. She is still skittish with strangers but feels safe in a crate when they come round. She loves her Thunder shirt and that is very soothing to her. She is now healthy, vaccinated and microchipped.
