About Baker

Baker just bit my 4 year old. We have to get rid of him today or he's going to be put to sleep. Can anybody take him? ��%BC Adult or older kids only. We have tried for over a year to find him a home and now he bit my daughter. We are lucky the bite wasn't worse but we can't take a chance anymore. He went through 16 weeks x 2 times a week of training from Marshall K9 training. He walks perfectly on a leash, is mostly dog neutral, rides well in a car, knows the commands 'climb' and 'kennel' (along with the other basic ones), and is e-collar trained. I think he would do great with off leash recall once he knows he's home, but we haven't been great with working on it lately. He had been doing phenomenal here though when we were taking the time to work on it. He may do well with another dog in the house, but NO alphas. His trainers seem to think he would do ok given the proper introduction. He did/ does well with my other 2 dogs (one of which has since passed) that aren't alphas. He does fight with the alpha sometimes (also his full blooded sibling) but I really don't think it's his fault, he just doesn't let her push him around which leads to fights. They also play all the time too though. He does have other quirks that need discussed, but if interested we can talk about those. The quirks are not a huge deal if no young kids are in the household. Please spread the word! He's an amazing dog that deserves the right home for him where he can be completely happy. I do not believe he is good with cats, but don't more from personal experience, just what was said from the original owners. We have now had him for a year after we foster failed him when his original home was going to take him to the shelter.
