Meet Pumpkin!! This sweet girl was found under a house living with her brother Goblin. When the volunteers showed up, these two babies were playing wack a mole. They were trying to hide but finally knew they were being saved. The volunteers got them and got them home safely. These two babies are typical puppies who loves playing and romping around. Pumpkin is a sweet girl who loves to cuddle up with her humans. She does enjoy playing. She is an active chica though, so she will need someone active. Pumpkin loves to run around and have fun!!! She will make a fantastic hiking or running partner once she grows up. They will need to learn with their families. They will need obedience training, someone who will be home with them and not leave them more than 3 hrs a day. We take puppies very seriously and will not adopt to anyone who is not willing to go to training and socialize them properly. Also, we know the holidays are right around the corner, and people will be looking for presents. Our dogs and puppies will not be presents of any kind. Please know we have strict guidelines that we will follow during our interviewing process regarding this matter. Pumpkin cannot wait to meet her new forever family or couple!!!! Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption: Thorough veterinary examination All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (Kennel Cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming, Microchip, Flea and Tick Prevention and Heartworm Prevention. Spay/Neuter All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease. VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward. HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
