About Karma

SWEET, LITTLE, OLD, ANGEL FOR ADOPTION! Meet Karma! Karma is a very little chihuahua mix who weighs about 15 pounds and could be anywhere from 12-14 years old. After years of neglect, this little, old lady is sugar sweet and so appreciative of the love and care she is now getting in her foster home. She is great with other dogs and loves to cuddle under the covers. Perhaps because she was left outside for so many years, she has struggled with housetraining. She does use potty pads and are her wees are wee in size. We hope that karma rewards Karma's kindness and strength with a family to care for and protect her for the rest of her days. Karma does seem to be a healthy girl! She has no known medical issues and is feeling fine! A reduced adoption fee of $100 does apply for Karma, our seniors, special medical and behavioral needs dogs and other 'slow to adopt' dogs! Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and are scheduling individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA area during the pandemic. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
