About DOG OF THE MONTH!

Let's get Turbo home for the holidays! This gorgeous boy is Turbo and he is our Dog of the Month for December! If you adopt Turbo this month, the adoption fee is 25 % reduced! Turbo is a 10-month-old shepherd mix. He currently weighs 68 lb and is about done growing. Turbo's foster says 'Turbo is definitely settling in. From the short time we have had Turbo, he has been very easy. He is fully housetrained and picked up on the back door bells to let us know when he needs a potty break, or when he just wants some fresh air. There has been no resource guarding. He plays very well with our dog Buckley and understands cues when Buckley is done with playtime. He definitely benefits from our morning walks; we do about 2 miles in the park. I wouldn't say he is high energy but he does need to burn some wiggles out. He needs work with the lead and he is overly exuberant with passing dogs but he is a puppy and will calm down to enjoy more relaxed meetings. Although he is a big boy, Turbo truly believes he is a lap dog and enjoys his people. I work from home and he has been very good at settling in when it's time to 'go to work'. He is quickly adapting to the house routine and when people come and go. Turbo loves meeting new people and dogs alike. I take him on many outings to help him be less afraid of getting in the car. Turbo deserves a forever family that will embrace him as a member of the family. This boy is full of love and wants to please.' Turbo would do great with children of all ages and would love to have a dog friend to play with. We think Turbo would do best in a cat-free home.
