About Jax

Meet Jax !! Tiny in size but big on personality! We are having so much fun with those pint size playmate. Jax is a 3 year old male beagle. He only weighs 16 pounds and should be full grown. He's a tiny little guy! He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. He is thankfully Heartworm negative. Jax is high on life. So happy and playful. A goofy fun loving boy. He's always excited to see everyone. Just an adorable and joyful dog. He has done fantastic with all other dogs and loves to play. He will tag along with his pup friends whenever he can. He's also made friends with our other available beagle named Marv (if you're looking for two new pups). We haven't seen him with cats so we are unsure how he would do. Jax been fabulous with kids. He loves to be held and doesn't mind being carried around. He's happy to go anywhere and do anything with you. We don't think Jax ever lived inside prior to coming to us but he has done fantastic with his indoor training! He's great about being crated and does wonderful on car rides. He's decent on a leash also. He's done really well with potty training and never messes in his crate. He did mark his territory a lot the first two days. Now that he's settled in he hasn't continued that behavior. He may do it temporarily in a new place. Surprisingly he hasn't been very vocal so far. Hounds are usually very loud with howling and barking. He may settle in and show those traits later but currently he's not a super loud guy. He has a medium to high energy level. He loves to run and play in the yard with the other dogs but can also likes snuggle time. He's happy to go on outings with you and enjoy life. He would do best with a fenced yard to be able to exercise in. He loves his zoomies! Jax has had no issues sharing food, treats or toys with other dogs and people. He's shown no aggression at all over anything. He is truly an awesome little hound with a great personality.
