About Sonya

Sonya is a great girl! She arrived as a hospice foster, but our vet feels she could have many years left. She loves water and appears to like kids and loves to ride in cars. She did show some food aggression, along with toy aggression when she arrived. Her foster mom has been working on that and has made great progress. She will release her toy if her mom insists. She will do it with some normal Rottie grumbling but doesn't have any issues with her food or food bowl now. Sonya would greatly benefit from a home where she gets all the attention since she doesn't see eye to eye and cannot hang out with other dogs. She would truly thrive as an 'only' child. Sonya is smart as a whip and listens very well with very little Rottie hardheadedness. She has made great improvements in her attitude since going to her foster mom in May and would continue to really thrive and improve where she received all the attention. Her foster mom says she loves this girl and her smart and quirky attitude!
