About Maggie

Maggie joined our rescue after we offered assistance to a family in need. The family was overwhelmed after their dog had a litter of four puppies. We sponsored all the medical care for mom and the puppies and we also welcomed the father of the dogs into our rescue...his name is Buddy! In rescue, it is not often that we get to know who the mom and dad of our dogs are, so we feel extra lucky to know that these puppies come from incredibly sweet parents. Maggie was born on March 16th. She is so smart, loving and her caramel brown eyes will melt your heart! Maggie knows how to walk on the leash, sit, stay, down, place and she's working on some other tricks. Maggie's play style can be a little more on the rough side and would do best in a home with another dog that is the same. We are working on her play style, but she is a puppy who likes to play! Maggie has traits like her mom; loyal and protective. We would love to have someone who can continue Maggie's training and help her understand that her owner will do the protecting and be the boss! In turn, Maggie will snuggle and give you endless kisses. Maggie would do great in a home with children over 8 so she doesn't knock anyone over when she is playing and does well with other dogs with proper introductions. An active family would be best for Maggie since she is young and due to her breed will have energy. She also is up for a nap on the couch watching Netflix of course. Maggie is potty trained and would love a big backyard of her own! Maggie's adoption includes her completed veterinary exam, spay, vaccines, microchip and basic training (learning still in progress).
