About Luna

Luna is a very loyal, loving girl who needs to find a person or family who can spend more time with her. She loves going for walks, playing at the beach, and snuggling. She is perfectly content being by your side, but she does need exercise or she can get overweight. She is a husky mix (we were told Alaskan husky) but she is on the heavier side at 70-80 lbs. Luna can be somewhat anxious around some new people, but she has lived in a home with another husky and a small child and did great. She currently lives in a home with 3 cats and does fine with them. The kitten we brought in and her regularly play and cuddle. Luna needs someone experienced in training dogs as she can push her boundaries. For example, if you tell her to get out of the kitchen, she may leave but when you have your back turned she will sneak in from the other side. She hasn't destroyed furniture or shoes, but she may chew a baby toy if it's on the floor or in reach. As far as huskies go she is not that destructive, but she probably should be crated when you leave the house. You also must be comfortable with walking a bigger dog, because she LOVES to lunge at squirrels on walks. With diligence you can catch her before she lunges but she always tries.
