About Penny

Penny is a 6 year old terrier mix and is a very sweet girl. Her owner- a close friend- passed away suddenly earlier this year. Poor Penny was locked in the apartment for 2 days before anyone knew her owner had passed. She was in a lot of trauma and depression at that time, and no one in her family could take her. I took her in for the short term. She needs to find her forever family now. She's in a better frame of mind, happy, and loving. I already have 3 dogs and 3 cats in a small house and I just cannot keep another dog long-term. She is about 40 lbs., up- to- date on her heartworm/flea prevention and all shots. She gets along with other non-dominant dogs, adult cats, and people (children over 6-7). She is crate trained (crate included if needed), walks on a leash and knows a few commands. Located in Spartanburg, SC USA.
