Bingo came into the shelter in July after being found as a stray. He was never reclaimed by his previous owners, so he is now holding out hope on an adopter that will come and show him what home feels like! Bingo is a gentle giant! We honestly believe he would make a great therapy dog for someone because we have never known him to be anything but gentle, sweet and calm. Bingo appears to have been leash trained in his previous home as he can walk on a leash without applying any bit of pressure to his handler. He is always right there when he is called, and is just so eager to please. His only quirk is that he does not get along well with other male dogs, but does get along well with females. This may be resolved after his neuter, but we hope that any adopters will take this into consideration! Due to his gentle and patient nature, we think he would do really well in a home with children or elderly. If you are looking for a big dog to cuddle with, please consider adopting Bingo! Bingo is about two years old and weighs 70 pounds. He has had his first vaccines in shelter, has been treated for internal/external parasites and has been tested for heartworm disease which he is positive for.
