If you're a dog person, and you want ONE dog, Wonder will make a great pet. She is healthy, up to date on all vaccines, and 9 years old. Her vulnerability is that she can be reactive to certain dogs when they pass by on leash. You can manage her by keeping her focused with a treat or crossing to the other side of the street from the dog. You just need to pay attention. Wonder is a very loyal, loving companion. She's a good citizen, is obedient, and can do fun tricks! She's super soft, has tender kisses, and welcomes you home with a quick light touch jump up! Gentle high fives! She likes to curl up at your feet when you're working, reading, or watching a movie. Sometimes she'll put her head in your lap, look up at you, and want pets. She loves to give kisses and receive pets, pats, and scratches. She likes it when you talk to her. When you have guests, she is eager to greet everyone. She likes to be with you, and will usually lay nearby wherever you are. She likes to howl with the fire trucks. She has a youthful spirit and she is very playful, easy to get excited to play - throwing the stick, or a ball. She likes to swim, and will retrieve a retrieval toy from a stream or even from the ocean. She enjoys walks in the park, and foraging off-leash in parks when it's allowed. She loves to walk with you or ride in the car - and she will ask you to partially roll the window down so she can do the dog thing and hang her head out of the window. She does a special trick, in addition to 'roll over'. If you ask her to sit, place a treat on her forehead and ask her to 'wait', she will look up at you with her beautiful eyes, and when you say 'okay', she'll let the treat fall on the floor and eat it. She is nuts over pizza, but we don't indulge her. She gets a crust as a reward sometimes. She prefers walks to just being left to herself in a fenced yard. She doesn't chew or destroy things. We think she would be happiest being the only dog in the house.
