About Moochie

Moochie is a beautiful red heeler that just turned a year old in September. This boy has skills. He'd be great at agility training, he loves to please his people. Moochie is housetrained & crate trained. I give him a peanut butter Kong and / or a dental chew if I have to leave him in his crate for a long period of time. He's usually good for at least a few hours. His favorite thing to do is amuse you by jumping at least 3' off the ground to twirl and catch his favorite ball. We even have a glow in the dark ball. He will fetch the ball and drop it close to you. Moochie will in turn pick up the ball and drop closer if you do not pick it up so that you can toss it again. I got him a ball blaster, he enjoys it tremendously. He likes the water (lakes or rivers) he'd be a great hiking partner. Loves his people. Moochie loves the foster puppies as long as they don't try to get in his face while he's eating. I do feed everyone separately and it works out nicely. He will gently eat from your hand as well. Mooch loves car rides and makes a wonderful co-pilot. I feel Moochie would benefit from an active person as heelers love a job & need to stay busy. (A tired dog is a good dog) They are very devoted pets & whoever is lucky enough to adopt this spunky boy will not regret it. Read up on this breed and you will find that you might just be the family he has been waiting for. Moochie is in a foster home with 4 other dogs & 2 pups. He does well with others.
