About Freddie

Gorgeous Freddie was found by his foster mom as part of her work trapping feral cats and kittens. Freddie, along with his sisters, Theodora and Amelia, were quite friendly and able to be handled, so they have become SVPP foster kittens. Freddie is a healthy, happy, big boy kitten who will soon be ready for his forever home! Freddie has taken a fair amount of time to come out of his shell and start trusting humans. While he's now very friendly and loves pets, he will probably take some time to adjust to a new space. He LOVES to play. He can spend hours chasing after a toy on a fishing pole, executing gravity-defying jumps, and running in circles until you're dizzy. He needs to be forced to take a break sometimes because he will be panting with his tongue out but still won't take a break from playing. His favorite toy is the cat catcher, but he will run after anything. Freddie is a very good eater! will eat foods of any texture and typically finishes all of the food put in front of him. This has helped him grow into a big and strong kitten. He will likely need meals to have managed portions to prevent over eating. Freddie sleeps very very deeply. If he's asleep, you can lift a paw and drop it like a stone and he won't budge. He sometimes falls asleep in hilarious locations and positions because he got too sleepy to find himself a bed. He loves getting pets and prefers aggressive petting. Not a gentle little rub of a cheek or scratch on the head, but a full body, both hands, rub all over, scratch aggressively type of petting. He enjoys belly rubs but won't voluntarily roll over for them. He doesn't love being picked up and will tolerate it only until he finds an escape route. He is starting to become a lap cat and enjoys making biscuits on your stomach when you're lying down. But most of the time, he prefers to be right next to you with his entire body leaning against your leg. Freddie is mostly a quiet kitten but if you're not giving him enough attention or you're late to serving a meal, he will let his displeasure be known.
