About Roo

Meet our beautiful girl Roo. Roo is 11 months old, healthy spayed female, currently 48 lbs (projected to be about 60lb) with a stunning red coat and eyes to match. We rescued roo from a dumpster down south at 10 weeks old. Roo is house trained, trained NOT to bark at passerbys, and is working on leash training. Roo is great with kids and other animals, however for the safety of toddlers we believe she should be homed with kids 5 plus as she gets extremely excited when you come home and she's not fully trained not to jump. This is a smart, independent girl. She needs a family dedicated to continue her training, we prefer her to go to a home with another dog companion, and someone who's willing to share the bed. Redbone coonhounds and HUNTING dogs (although she's not actually a hunter, but hshe has an amazing sniffer) she needs a home with a large fenced in yard and a mom/dad who is active and can keep up with her puppy energy. This is our family dog and we will need to confirm that everything checks out with new potential family. Roo is free to a good home, we are located in wallingford CT.
