Wait until you see Dorothy's amazing eye! She has one blue eye and the other eye is blue AND brown. The iris has two colors which is called heterochromia. It's so cool!! Her vision is normal and there's no extra medical care needed. It's just an interesting trait. Her tail has been docked so she has a short stub. Dorothy Jo is the SWEETEST dog! She's gentle and affectionate - loves every one - and is quick to roll so she can offer her belly for much loved scratches. This 3 year old is housebroken, walks well on a leash, naps regularly and likes to be close to her people. Although she is good with other dogs, she prefers to spend her time with people. We haven't seen her really enjoy playing with dogs in her foster home. That may change with time.. Her foster mom shared: 'She loves couch cuddles the best. Dorothy has the best tail wiggle wag. She trusts people immediately. Dorothy is very food motivated, she is endearing and sweet. She is fully potty trained and trustworthy home alone without being in a crate.' Dorothy Jo has been spayed, tested negative for heartworm disease & is up to date on vaccines and monthly preventatives. We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are in her genetic background. Her current weight of 40 lbs is thought to be her adult size. We highly recommend training classes for all of our dogs to get everyone off to a great start. Training recommendations are available.
