She's a testament to the power of love and proper care. Cuddles' past was marked by neglect, leaving her with skin allergies that resulted in inflammation, scabs, soreness, and the loss of her beautiful fur. Sadly, she was bounced around within a family that didn't provide her with the medical attention she needed, particularly for her allergy to poultry. But, in her new foster home, things are different. Under the care of our�%A0loving rescue, Cuddles has received the proper medical treatment she so desperately needed. Her skin condition has improved, and her fur is on its way to growing back in. This little girl is not just a survivor but a bouncy, loving bundle of energy who's here to bring joy and entertainment to your life. While Cuddles is estimated to be around 5 years old, her true age is a bit uncertain due to the lack of vet care in her previous homes. Her teeth and boundless energy suggest she might be closer to 3 years old. She breaks the scale weighing in at 5.5 pounds! LOL! Cuddles is looking for a home where she can be with her human often, as she's experienced too much loneliness and abandonment in the past. She gets along well with other small dogs, but what she truly craves is a strong human connection. Her current treatment plan is working wonders to bring her coat and skin into prime condition with oral and topical medication as well as good-quality food. Cuddles is hypoallergenic, which is a bonus, but it does require monthly grooming to keep her looking and feeling her best. Heartworm prevention is a must, especially in areas where mosquitos are a concern. It only take one mosquito bit for a dog to become infected with heartworm disease.�%A0 If you can provide Cuddles with the love, care, and companionship�%A0she so deeply deserves, don't hesitate to apply to adopt.
