I'm looking for a rescue or adopter for a lovely chocolate boy (possibly Great Pyrenees a generation back) that was found by a young man in the small town in SE Missouri where we reside. I offered to take him in temporarily based on a local rescue that posted him, stating they were full. My assumption was the rescue would handle vetting, etc. I'm retired with two Labradors of my own and cannot afford to vet him. He's probably 3 to 4 years old, intact, dog neutral and well mannered in the home, house broken, crate trained, knows sit, down, shake and has a good recall. I have had him scanned, he is not chipped. He does appear to have a mild case of possibly demodex. I'm willing to deliver him within 250 miles or so. If you can assist with him, my contact information is below.
