Meet Lola: Your Diamond in the ruff About Lola: Lola is a super sweet loving girl who LOVES everyone even though she hasn't always had it easy. Humans have failed her too many times and now it's finally her turn to be shown true love. She will blossom into the best doggie partner ever once she finds her perfect person or family. She's about 3 years old and has the purest smile you've ever seen and the prettiest golden eyes. Her red coat, joyful eyes and huge smile will capture your heart at first glance. At just the right size, Lola is the ideal mix of compact and cuddly, making her the perfect addition to any home. She's right at about 50lbs. Personality: Lola's personality is very sweet and loving and she loves to rollover to show you her belly after about 10 minutes of being around you. She's very sensitive to the environment and energy around her so at times displays flight and ping pong on the leash behavior and with transitions and can be nervous to new environments. Sadly, this is because people that were bestowed the responsibility to care for her, haven't always been predictable or kind. Even after all she's been through, she's a happy go lucky girl that wants to show love and affection. She just needs time to build a trusting relationship where she feels secure. Ideal Home: Lola would do best in a dog experienced home and a home with another dog that enjoys playing and is laid back to show Lola a fun and safe environment around other dogs. She would also be content to be the only dog with her favorite dog saavy person, couple or family. She also can live with dog friendly cats but might need some reminding in the beginning not to chase them in an attempt to play. Her new owner must be willing to give Lola the consistency and patience that all dogs needs to succeed. Additional training with a trainer will be provided if her new family would like to enroll in training. Ready for Adventure: Lola loves the great outdoors and is always up for an adventure. For the first few minutes on a walk, she pulls like she is super eager to get where you're going but then after about 10 minutes, she's a great walker on the leash and harness.
