Courtesy post for Carmen...saved by her foster and now looking for a forever home. Meet Carmen - Your New Best Friend Carmen, a charming 3-year-old pup, is ready to find her forever home at Baltimore County Animal Services. This sweet girl, weighing around 60 lbs, was once a stray, so her past remains a mystery, but she's more than ready to create new memories with a loving family. Carmen has been flourishing in her foster home, and her foster mom has shared some wonderful insights about her: -Carmen is doing well with crate training and improving every day. -She has medium to high energy levels, easily managed with daily play and exercise. -Tug-o-war is her absolute favorite game. -She adores her benebones and kongs for a good chew. -Carmen is an excellent virtual work/class buddy. -She enjoys snuggling up in blankets and looking out the door without excessive barking. -Her only barks are joyful 'woo-woos' in the morning and at breakfast. Due to her exuberant nature, Carmen would be best suited for a family with older children to avoid any accidental bumps. She also requests a meet and greet with any resident dogs to ensure compatibility. Carmen is treat-motivated, eager to please, and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training, structure, routine, and patience. She loves walks, playtime in the yard, and practicing commands. Carmen admits, 'I LOVE to get all the attention, so sometimes I can be overly excited and jump up.' To meet Carmen and give her the loving home she deserves, please call the shelter at 410-887-PAWS to schedule a meet and greet appointment. You can also email [email protected] to arrange a time. Don't miss the chance to welcome this joyful, loving companion into your life.
