Hoot is a tricky case. He was an owner surrender to a local rural shelter where we pulled him from. The reason for surrender is unknown. He has truly shut down in a shelter environment and will need an owner who is willing to dedicate time to helping him come out of his shell. When it is quiet and just the main people around he does come out to cry for wet food and treats. He will also come sit out in the open to walk around and relax. He is ok with cats and dogs coming up to him as long as they don't really invade his space. At this moment he does not want people touching him although I do believe this could change with the right owner and home. Is anyone out there willing to give hoot a chance?
