LUCKY, a 2-yr-old, 40 lb, Shepherd/Lab mix was spotted running in traffic near a busy gas station in rural Texas, and quickly rescued by a local 501(c)(3) rescue group, which later discovered that LUCKY had been shot. Luckily for LUCKY, the gunshot wound was easily treated and aside from a slight loss of mobility in LUCKY's tail, has had no lasting impact on LUCKY's physical or emotional health. LUCKY, who loves absolutely everyone he meets including new people, kids, other dogs and even cats, shows no sign of trauma from his early life of neglect. LUCKY is a happy, intelligent young dog who loves to run and play outdoors and would benefit from living with a family that has a fenced yard and children to grow up with. Although he's currently living at a rescue rehab center near Austin, Texas, LUCKY can easily be transported to virtually any home in the USA for the cost of his adoption fee, which also covers his vaccinations and neuter. Please call Andrew anytime at (646) 387-9868 for more pictures, videos and the rest of LUCKY's story. Thank You for your interest in loving and lovable LUCKY - the ideal family rescue dog!
