She has a chronic form of bronchitis called eosinophilic bronchitis, which requires medication every other day (costing $25-30 per month). She also has only 1 tooth, but she can still enjoy a variety of foods. Coco Beans personality can be best described as a 'Diva Personality'. Bean has a larger-than-life personality and is often compared to Blanche from the Golden Girls. Her diva personality is sure to bring joy and laughter into your life. She is an Attention Seeker. She thrives on attention and will vocalize if feeling ignored. Coco Bean prefers to sleep in bed with her human and gets upset when crated causing her to cough. Crating is not recommended due to her health. Her ideal home would be with someone experienced with special needs dogs and who can ensure she receives her prescribed medication every other day as per the veterinarian's instructions. A home where she can receive the attention and companionship she craves. A cat-free environment is necessary. Coco Bean does not get along with cats and finds them unpleasant. Lastly, a fenced yard is a requirement for Coco Bean as she is unable to walk long distances. Coco Bean is house, pad, and doggy door trained. She is spayed,microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations and had a dental in December of 2021. She is currently fostering in Sutherland, VA and her adoption fee is $150.00.
